This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
Once you inquire, I’ll reach out to get to know you and hear what you’re hoping for. We’ll talk through locations, outfits, and any special details that matter to you—beloved pets, meaningful places, or little touches that make this season of life feel like yours. I’ll help guide you every step of the way so it all feels easy and stress-free.
Sessions are relaxed and easy, with gentle guidance along the way. I’ll use simple prompts to help everyone feel comfortable, keep things playful, and let real moments unfold.
After your session, I thoughtfully hand-edit each image to preserve true-to-life color and genuine emotion. You’ll receive a private online gallery of high resolution files and a print release, where you can easily download, share, and print your favorites anywhere you like to enjoy for years to come.
Are the travel expenses included in your packages?
Travel session fee of $0.60 per mile will apply outside of the Bedford, Iowa area.
Can you recommend any good locations?
Sessions can take place outdoors at one of my go-to locations or at a spot that’s meaningful to your family. Fields, farms, downtown streets, backyards — wherever feels most you. I’m always happy to help choose the perfect location.
What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?
Mother Nature doesn’t always cooperate — and that’s okay. If the weather isn’t working in our favor, we’ll simply choose a new date. I’ll monitor the forecast and reach out 24–48 hours before your session so we can make a stress-free decision together.
